Jan C. Behmann, born in 1985 in Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany, is an entrepreneur, author and publisher.
After completing school, he trained in emergency medical services. He worked full-time in emergency medical services, including at Frankfurt Airport on rescue and emergency ambulances.
In 2007, he founded the company medicteach, which he still runs today as managing partner.
He consults worldwide in German and English and specialises in occupational safety and fire protection consulting in the data centre, law, finance, private equity and tax sectors.
He advises companies on communication, team building, workflow structuring and the implementation of new software applications.
He is the author of several specialist books and novels, including an approved first aid
textbook and numerous specialist articles. Since 2017, he has been a freelance author for the
weekly newspaper Der Freitag.
As a publisher, he runs edition:behmann, which publishes his novels, specialist books and illustrated books in German and English. He also narrates audiobooks.
In 2024, he and his company established the Christopher-Bulle-Scholarship, which is awarded annually to artists.
